8086 EMULATOR

Ÿ- Emu8086 is extremely helpful for those who just begin to study assembly language. The source code is compiled by assembler and then executed on Emulator step-by-step. It shows registers, memory, stack, variables and flags. Values can be investigated and edited by double click. Instructions can be executed back and forward. Arithmetic & Logical Unit (ALU) shows the internal work of the central processor unit (CPU). Since Emu8086 runs programs on a Virtual PC, it completely blocks your program from accessing real hardware, such as hard-drives and memory, and without risk of crashing your PC. In advance as your assembly code runs on a virtual machine, it makes debugging much easier. So, a complete ‘all in one’ solution is presented for coding in Assembly Language.

Ÿ- Emu8086 can create a tiny operating system and write its binary code to a bootable floppy disk. The software package includes several external virtual devices: robot, stepper motor, led display, and traffic lights intersection. Virtually anyone with any programming experience can design animated virtual devices in Java, C#, .Net, Visual Basic or even in Assembly language.
